There is a large car park there but this area is used for the very decent Saturday market (great to stock up on supplies) and, if your car is there overnight and not moved at silly o'clock on Saturday morning, it will be towed! One last word of advise for anyone travelling soon - J47 on the A26 (where the A16 and A26 meet) is closed at the moment. One word of warning though - don't be tempted to park in Place Foch (in front of Town Hall) on Friday evenings. Parking limited as you would expect in a town centre hotel but there seems to be plenty of other options around. Interestingly they offer only a very limited menu on Saturday and Sunday evenings not an issue for us as we intended to eat out (in another dog friendly restaurant) anyway but that may catch some people out. I'm not generally a great fan of eating in hotel restaurants but it was the easy choice after a fairly late arrival on Friday evening and they were happy that we had our Jack Russell (I know.I know.not everyone wants to dog in a restaurant but pet owners get it). The décor is modern and quirky and bed was comfortable - no noise issues. Rooms, as is the case with Ibis generally, were small but perfectly adequate for a short stay.
